The Horses of the Rocking RD Ranch.

Let me introduce you to the Horses of the Rocking RD ranch.  Here on the Rocking RD we raise and train Missouri Fox Trotter horses and quarter horses. We have 4 Fox trotters and one quarter horse and one Quarab , a Quarab is 1/2 quarter horse and 1/2 Arabian. Oh and don't let me forget about our mini , Mr Rodeo. he's a miniature paint horse. But SHHHH don't tell him he's a mini he thinks he's the biggest horse on the ranch. Well without further ado let's get to it, shall we?

First up we have Ms Sassy, she's our Quarab that is one of two that were actually born on the ranch . She is 6 years old and is my youngest daughters horse. She's been a good addition to the ranch.click here to help out the horses

Next up is Annie she is a 4 year old Missouri Fox Trotter , her mom is my horse Special Rose AKA Rose. Annie was only a yearling when we got her and her mother. She is my oldest daughters horse, and she has "taken the reins" in Annie's training under saddle.Keep posted on Annie's progress.

This is Ms Velvet, she's the mother to the latest horse born on the ranch, Ms Ellie. Ms Velvet is Rose's sister and is also one of the Fox Trotters here on the Rocking RD .

And here is Annie's mama , Ms Rose, the oldest on the ranch at 16 years old . She is my main ride when I have to spend long hours in the saddle. That Fox trot gait she has makes it comfortable for sure.

And when you need to work cows or just go on a quiet ride you can't beat an American Quarter horse. This is Ms Bella , she's a 8 year old grade quarter horse that can work cows, run the barrel racing pattern , or just take you down the trail on a quiet trail ride.

And last but certainly not least, Here is the man of the hour, the big man Mr Rodeo the miniature paint horse. He's mainly here just to eat and be the ranch mascot. Oh and to flirt with all the his girlfriends , lol .

And right up above is the newest addition to the ranch, Ms Ellie . This is Velvets daughter , who was born in 2020 , making her only 2 years old. So stay tuned on to her training progress in the upcoming months and years. And just for your viewing pleasure here's some more shots of the horses .
